Does it interact with my pill?

It's built to sit right beside it. Plain vitamins and minerals at everyday amounts. No herbs, no St John's Wort, nothing hormonal, nothing that changes how your pill works. Take it whenever you take your pill, no spacing needed. One honest note: if you ever throw up within a few hours of taking your pill, that's a pill question, so follow your pill's leaflet. If you take other medications, check with your pharmacist first.

Can I take it with my current multi?

You don't need to. Vosoro is the whole multi: a full base of 20 essentials with 8 topped up. It replaces your multi. Taking both just doubles your base and brings back the iron we left out on purpose. If your doctor has you taking something specific, keep following your doctor.

What about the placebo week?

Keep taking it. Vosoro is a daily multi, not part of your pill pack, so the placebo week is just two more capsules. Same if you skip placebos or run packs back to back: two capsules, every day.

Why is there no iron?

Because the pill lowers how much iron you lose. In a controlled trial, blood loss on a low dose combined pill fell by about 40% over six months. Women's multis carry iron to replace what a period takes, and most drugstore ones carry 18 mg. On the pill, most of that reason goes away, so we left it out. If your old multi made mornings queasy, the iron is the likely reason. If your doctor has told you to take iron, keep taking it.

I'm on the mini pill. Is this for me?

Honestly, no. Vosoro is built for the combined pill, the kind with estrogen. The way the pill draws these nutrients down runs on estrogen passing through the liver, and the mini pill has none. The ring and the patch work differently too. We'd rather tell you that than sell you a fit that isn't there. Not sure which one you're on? Check your pack for ethinyl estradiol, or ask your pharmacist.

When will I notice anything?

Day one, maybe one thing: if your old multi made mornings queasy, the iron is gone. Weeks one and two, probably nothing, and we'd rather say so now. Weeks three to eight is when the 8 have had time to build back up, and if you were running low, less tired and less foggy is what that can look like*. Nothing overnight.

Does it do anything to my hormones?

No, and we'd never claim it does. We can't change what the pill does to your hormones. What we can do is make sure the nutrients your body uses to handle that change aren't the ones it's running short of. No herbs, nothing hormonal, just vitamins and minerals.

My bloodwork came back fine. Do I need this?

Your result was real. It just probably wasn't looking at this. A standard panel covers blood counts, the basics and thyroid, and sometimes vitamin D and iron. It usually doesn't run B6, B2, the folate inside your red blood cells, zinc or selenium. And Vosoro isn't a test. It's a multi, built around what your pill takes.

Why two capsules?

Because the full list doesn't fit in one. Minerals like zinc and selenium take up real room. They're size 00, so they're not tiny. We kept it to two instead of three, with no flavor coating and no fish oil, so there's nothing to burp up.

Isn't this just a multivitamin?

Yes. That's the point. Same habit you already have, same spot beside your pill. The difference is who it was built for.
